Neon Green

I have been really challenged spending more time with you. You are very different to the people I usually hang out with, and it’s definitely a big change. Not that it’s a bad thing! I think the cultural differences can be refreshing, but other times it’s a little hard I’ll admit.

Like a neon green sign, you stand out at night because of your energy and lack of a volume dial. You are an incredibly loud and obnoxious colour who gets on my nerves sometimes—if I had an annoying older brother, I imagine he’d be someone like you (though, maybe a little less… loud). You have definitely been quite the test on my patience, but I’m glad I have something to learn, being in your presence.

That said, I really admire your commitment serving in multiple ministries and your willingness to foster opportunities for fellowship. It’s honestly insane how much you do with such little sleep! I would argue that it’s possibly, maybe, slightly unhealthy for you to keep going at the pace you currently function. I am hoping, for your sake, that you prioritise rest more because it sucks burning out.
