Never Alone

I have seen stars spread across the sky
And billions of sand grains blanketing beaches
Off the east coast of my home.

There have been geese with scary teeth,
And leaves that turn red at the touch of autumn,
Yet, we’re so quick to forget the one who made it.

In grand miracles and nature’s beauty,
We see an image of the Invisible Creator,
But never in the everyday goodness we’re given.

Why is it that we forget and struggle on our own,
When we have loved ones by our side
And a Father that fights for us?
